The circular patio is formed from natural sandstone to make a circle 2800mm diameter  then we have used tegula block paving to to extend the diameter to 3500mm.
The bench is built from rendered concrete block with sandstone paving to seat.

Before we fitted the filter the water was like pea soup but within  two weeks it was completely clear. If you look carefully you can see a duck on the pond.

Here is a lovely pond that the Garden Construction Co built for a customer in the Sciennes area of Edinburgh. Note the use of  a bamboo cane for the water spout , very zen . Yes i know  its a cliche but whatever...... it works, nice and simple. Can you see the birdie ? mmmm ornamental accesory as provided by client.
